About Training

Training balls carry printed aim points, spin lines or a helper grid — they show where the tip actually landed and how the ball turned. It is the fastest way to see your own error instead of guessing at it.

The best known are the Jim Rempe and Chris Henry balls with a full grid of points, the Aramith Pro Cup with six red dots for watching spin, and plain white balls with a single target for practising a centre hit. A separate group covers sets for practising racks and position play. Training balls are the same size as normal ones (57.2 mm in pool), so they work on any table. They pair well with training accessories and rack templates. Other sets are in billiard balls.
