Autographed

Autographed billiard equipment covers items signed by players: balls, cues, shirts, posters and tournament programmes. The value comes from who signed and whether it can be verified — a signature with no context is worth what the object under it is worth.

When buying, ask about the circumstances: a photo of the signing, a ticket from the event, a certificate from the organiser. A signature on a ball has to be sealed with lacquer or it rubs off when handled; signed items are kept out of sunlight, as marker ink fades. On the Polish market the memorabilia usually come from events held here — you can see who plays where in the tournament calendar. Related sections are unique and vintage and passion and gifts.
