About Glues and Tools
Cue glues and tools are everything you need to change a tip or a ferrule without sending the cue away. The kit is cheap and pays for itself after two or three changes.
Tips are fitted with medium-viscosity cyanoacrylate — not thin superglue, which soaks into the leather. Ferrules need epoxy or a plastics adhesive. Besides glues you will find tip clamps and presses, trimmers for the edge, shapers that set the radius, scuffers, fine abrasive papers and ferrule files. The right order is: remove the old tip, flatten the face, glue under a clamp, trim, then shape. The parts themselves are in tips and ferrules, while day-to-day upkeep is in care.
