Complete Cues

Complete snooker cues are the simplest way in: butt and shaft matched by the maker, ready to play straight out of the case. A typical complete snooker cue is 57 inches, weighs 17–19 oz and has a 9.5–10 mm tip — those three numbers are enough to avoid buying something unplayable.

The choice comes down to the joint. A 3/4 cue has its joint a quarter of the way from the butt and is the tournament standard. A 1/2 cue splits in the middle — easier to carry and cheaper. A one-piece cue gives the cleanest feel but needs a 147 cm case from cases. Listings include Peradon, BCE, Riley, O’Min and custom cues, new and used.
