FAQ — Diamond

How much does a Diamond table cost?
Smart Table (7-ft, bar box): $6500-9000. ProLine (7-ft): $9000-11500. Pro-Am (9-ft, tournament): $10000-18000. Paragon (9-ft luxury): $15000-23000. Compare: Brunswick Gold Crown VI (similar 9-ft) starts ~$13000. Used Diamond Pro-Am (5-10 years old) often go ~$6500-10000.
Diamond Pro-Am vs Brunswick Gold Crown — which is better?
Both are top-tier tournament. Diamond Pro-Am is the OFFICIAL US Open 9-Ball and WPA World table — pro tour uses Diamond. Brunswick Gold Crown VI is the classic tradition since 1845. Feel: Diamond has sharper cushion angle (ProFile) — more "responsive", Brunswick is "softer". For serious tournament play → Diamond. For classic pool-room look → Brunswick.
Is a 9-ft Diamond worth buying for home?
Depends on room and budget. Required clearance: min 21.5 ft x 14 ft for 9-ft (cue is 58", +30" swing = 88" per side). Price: $10000-18000 new + service/install (~$1300). But 9-ft is WPA standard — you play on what the pro tour uses. If room does not fit, 8-ft Smart Table ($6500-9000) is also good, though not a "true" tournament size.
