Fiberglass cues. Durability and price.

About Cuetec

Cuetec is an American brand from Florida — pioneer of fiberglass shafts (R360 technology). Popular among pub players and beginners for durability (fiberglass resists humidity and damage) and price (~$130-650 for complete cue). Models Cynergy (tournament), CT/AVID (mid-tier), R360 (budget). Cuetec Cynergy is a real competitor to Predator P3 at lower price.

FAQ — Cuetec

Cuetec Cynergy vs Predator Revo — how to compare?
Cynergy 15K Carbon (~$650-900) is cheaper than Predator Revo (~$1000), both carbon low-deflection shafts. Feel: Cynergy is lighter in hit, Revo heavier. Comparable deflection. In tournaments: Predator still dominates but Cuetec gains popularity. For hobbyist Cynergy is a very good deal. For pro tour Predator is still the safer bet.
Cuetec fiberglass cues — worth it?
Fiberglass shafts (R360) are ideal for situations where the cue faces humidity (basement, club without climate control) — they do not warp like wood. But they have a heavier, more "plastic" feel — not recommended for serious play. For a beginner $130-320 is a very good entry-level; for advanced players better take a maple shaft.
