About Lucasi

Lucasi is a pool cue brand of the Cue & Case group (USA), made in Asia with American design and quality control. The Lucasi Custom and Lucasi Hybrid lines deliver a solid tournament cue at half the price of a Predator or Mezz, and the Zero Flexpoint shaft is one of the cheaper low-deflection options on the market. A popular choice for a first serious cue and in league clubs.

FAQ — Lucasi

Is Lucasi a good beginner cue?
Yes, it is one of the most recommended cues for a first serious purchase: good wood, correct balance and a Uni-Loc joint that lets you add a Predator shaft later. A Custom model with a 13 mm maple shaft is enough for several years of league play.
Lucasi Hybrid or Custom?
Hybrid has the Zero Flexpoint shaft with lower deflection, which helps with side spin. Custom has a classic maple shaft and a lower price. A player learning spin will feel the difference in favour of Hybrid, a recreational player will not.
How much is a used Lucasi cue?
On the second-hand market a Lucasi Custom usually costs 120–220 EUR, a Hybrid 190–280 EUR. Check straightness and the Uni-Loc joint before buying; the tip is a 15–30 EUR replacement.
